Recommendations taken from William Davies, CEO of the APT
During this trying time, it is important to find ways to make this time rewarding, or at the very least tolerable. Here are a few ideas:
Remember that the quarantine is not only for your own good, but for that of others. While you may have to give up some of your freedom, keep in mind that what you are doing by staying home is very altruistic. Give yourself credit for your self-isolation! By keeping indoors, you are doing good by looking after those whose health may be more vulnerable. There will be ups and downs in your mood, and that is completely normal. Don’t be shy to ask for help when you need it; reach out to your loved ones or to a mental health professional. It is indeed a very trying and serious time for everyone, but you don’t have to be overly serious or feel miserable about it. Try to turn things around and enjoy it!
